“Food for Fines” benefit hosted by Duke Libraries

In partnership with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, the Duke libraries will forgive $1 for every unopened, unexpired and non-perishable food item donated during their “Food for Fines” drive.

The drive runs from October 10 through the 26th and the Duke libraries will forgive up to $25 worth of fines.

No fines? No problem! Anyone can donate to the drive. Read more about it on the Libraries’ blog, and thank you for your support.
